The Coalition of Ilaje Ravaged Coastal Communities is set to be formally inaugurated on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Ayetoro Community, Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The coalition, according to the organisers, is being established to provide a unified platform for coastal communities affected by ocean surge, coastal erosion, environmental degradation and alleged neglect, while advocating justice, restoration and sustainable development for affected communities.
