The Ogeloyinbo of Ayetoro, His Royal Highness, Oba Oluwambe Ojagbohunmi (JP), will on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, mark his coronation anniversary with a ceremony at the royal palace in Ayetoro.
The anniversary, according to a statement signed by Comrade Thompson Akingboye Omoyele, Personal Assistant to the traditional ruler, will bring together sons and daughters of Ayetoro, community leaders, representatives of various communes, stakeholders, friends and well-wishers.

Akingboye said the celebration was an opportunity to commemorate what he described as the traditional ruler’s years of leadership marked by “wisdom, peace, unity, and purposeful leadership.”
He said, “This auspicious anniversary celebrates a glorious era of wisdom, peace, unity, and purposeful leadership that has continued to define the throne and uplift the entire Ayetoro Community.”
The celebration is scheduled to take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Royal Palace, Ayetoro.
The statement called on Ayetoro indigenes both at home and in the diaspora to join the monarch in marking the occasion, alongside community leaders and other stakeholders.
It said, “All sons and daughters of Ayetoro at home and in the diaspora, leaders and representatives of all communes, community stakeholders, friends and well-wishers of the Community are cordially invited to join His Royal Highness in this joyous celebration.”

Oba Ojagbohunmi and members of the Council of Elders will be at the palace to receive guests and felicitations during the celebration.
The statement added, “Your gracious presence will be a great honour to the throne and to the entire Ayetoro Community.”
The coronation anniversary is expected to provide an opportunity for members of the Ayetoro community to celebrate the traditional institution and reflect on the monarch’s reign and the values associated with the community.
