These innovations, ranging from mobile-based irrigation systems to AI-driven advisory services, are transforming traditional farming practices and offering new hope in the face of numerous challenges.
Remote-Controlled Irrigation Systems
One notable advancement is the adoption of mobile-operated irrigation technologies. For instance, Nano Ganesh allows farmers to control water pumps remotely using basic mobile phones. This system enables farmers to manage irrigation efficiently, saving time and reducing the physical strain associated with manual pump operation. IoT technologies are enhancing precision agriculture by providing real-time data on soil conditions, weather patterns, and crop health.
