Reactions as Nasarawa State University Stampede Kills Two Students

Two female students tragically lost their lives in a stampede at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, during a distribution of palliatives by the Nasarawa State government on Friday.

The incident prompted a flurry of reactions on Facebook, with individuals expressing their thoughts and opinions on the tragic event.

“I insist I do not fancy a palliative govt,” declared Ibrahim Raheem Adigun.

“So sad, it will never happen in an organized society like the western world where there are rules and regulations,” lamented Taiwo Oluwadare.

Ayegba Gabriel proposed a solution: “Why not distribute it department by department to avoid larger crowds?”

Rakiya Kasheem questioned the gathering, stating, “Why must they gather them in one place? Naija things are always different.”

Ben Dickson expressed shame,”When will Nigeria be organized just for once? What a shameful act.”

Nwachukwu Daniel warned, “Nigerians no dey take precautions. Next time this issue will happen again.”

Odion Mikel criticized the state of the country: “So Nigeria is finally an almajiri country.. all thanks to thief ibu and his emilokan stooges.”

Chidozie Okonkwo focused on systemic issues: “Government of palliative is a scam. What people need is good economic policies and not palliative.”

Esangbedo Iluobe condemned the government, saying, “Naija, a country of poisonous palliatives brought upon us by the evil APC. May your souls rest in peace.”

Bulus J Dibal suggested a better strategy, “May their soul be With God Almighty, but is a very shameful to the university because where we support to learn, but unfortunately is not what we hear, insert they should strategies the way of sharing the items, for example level 1 from 10am to 12 pm level 2 up to the postgraduate, please some university have to learn from this.”

Monday Iwey blamed political leaders, “What do you expect when Tinubu and the association of professional criminals APC has turned Nigerians to beggars in their own country.”
