Ikire-born Nollywood actor and On-Air Personality, Otunba Adekunle Abolade, popularly known as Dodoede, is set to mark a major milestone in the entertainment industry with a 3-in-1 event in Osogbo, the Osun State capital. 

The event will celebrate his 20-year career in broadcasting, his birthday, and raise funds for a new cinema movie, Amobi Esho.

The announcement was made in a release signed by the Planning Committee Chairman, Chief Sunday Ayesoro, and Secretary, Prince Adedayo Adeyemi.

The release, made available by the Committee’s Publicity Secretary, Mukhtar Ajelogbon, detailed that the event will be a unique blend of celebration, entertainment, and fundraising.

The 3-in-1 event, slated for February 16, 2025, at Adolak Event Hall in Osogbo, promises to be the first of its kind. 

It will highlight Dodoede’s two decades of achievements in the broadcasting industry while also celebrating his birthday. 

Additionally, a fundraising effort will be launched to raise N200 million for the production of the movie Amobi Esho.

The event will feature live performances from notable Nigerian musicians, including Fuji music legend Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma and the dynamic gospel duo Taye-Kehinde Adegbodu. Also performing will be the celebrated Islamic musician, Alhaji Alayande Ere Asalatu.

The only entry requirement for the event is the purchase of the Aso-Ebi, which costs N25,000 for a 4-yard Ankara with a cap (Fila) and N30,000 for a 6-yard Ankara with a head tie (Gele). Details on where and when to collect the Aso-Ebi will be announced later.

Dignitaries from various sectors, including business tycoons, traditional rulers, Nollywood stars, media professionals, politicians, and other celebrities, are expected to attend, making it a landmark event in Osogbo. 

The event promises to leave a lasting impact on both the celebrant and the entertainment industry.
