On Thursday, May 9, 2024, Mr. Kehinde Alabi, the Rector of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, paid an unexpected visit to Ajao Samson’s Guinness World Record Reading Marathon venue.
Ajao Samson, who has been tirelessly reading for over 80 hours, aims to break the record for the longest marathon reading aloud of 214 hours, known as Read-A-Thon.
The Rector’s unexpected visit served as a morale booster for Ajao Samson, who, despite visible exhaustion, remained enthusiastic about his mission. Alabi’s presence marked a significant moment in Ajao’s journey, showcasing the institution’s dedication to supporting innovative and record-breaking achievements.
With newfound energy and motivation, Ajao Samson resumed his reading marathon, serving as an inspiration for others to pursue their passions and strive for excellence.
