Cairo – Egyptian filmmaker Mohanad Diab has added another milestone to his cinematic journey after winning the First Runner-up Award in the Poverty Alleviation and Economic Empowerment category at the African SDGs Film Festival, held in Abuja, Nigeria.
The award-winning film, titled “Fatma” and produced by the Misr El-Kheir Foundation, delivers a powerful humanitarian message about the social and economic challenges facing vulnerable communities, while highlighting the role of women in combating poverty and fostering economic empowerment.
Expressing his joy at receiving this international recognition, filmmaker Mohanad Diab said:
“I am delighted that our voice and humanitarian message have reached an African and international platform of this caliber. I consider this award a recognition for the entire team and for the invaluable support provided by Misr El-Kheir Foundation.”
