Seventeen outstanding young individuals from Osun State are set to be honoured today at the 10th edition of the Osun Youth Ambassador Award (OYAA), an annual recognition event celebrating youth excellence and community impact.
The President of the Youth Reformer Initiative and Convener of the OYAA, Aminat Ajibola, disclosed this in a statement released on Sunday. She said the event, themed “Owanbe,” will hold at the Adolak Event Centre in Osogbo.
According to Ajibola, this year’s edition will not only spotlight exceptional youths across different sectors but also celebrate the state’s rich cultural heritage.
“This 10th edition holds a special place in our hearts because it marks a decade of consistent recognition and celebration of Osun youths who have continued to make the state proud,” she said.
She expressed delight at how the initiative had evolved from a modest idea into one of the most respected youth recognition platforms in the state.
The event is expected to host prominent figures, including the Olowu of Owu Kuta and other distinguished guests from various sectors.
Ajibola further encouraged all awardees to attend the event with their guests, noting that participation is open and free to the public.
