The Osun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has confirmed the reported arrest of its Secretary, Comrade Olalekan Akindoju, following a police operation at his residence in Osogbo on Thursday morning.
According to the confirmation by the NUJ Chairman, Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin, and members of the Rave FM Chapel, where Akindoju is a member, policemen allegedly stormed his house before taking him away.
It was reported that the police busted his residence in the early hours and whisked him away but his whereabouts is unknown at the moment and his numbers are not reachable.
