Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has made history by breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
The record was officially certified by Guinness World Record after Hilda cooked non-stop for an astonishing 100 hours, surpassing the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes held by India’s Lata Tondon.
Guinness World Record took to Twitter to announce Hilda’s achievement, stating, “After reviewing all the footage, we’re delighted to announce that Hilda Baci is the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon (individual).
