The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed that three individuals sustained injuries in a late-night accident at Abule Ojo Junction near Alagbole, Ogun State.
CSP Omolola Odutola, the Command’s spokesperson, provided details in a statement released on Friday.
According to her, the incident occurred on Wednesday around 10 p.m. and involved a Lexus Jeep with registration number KTU 287 JS and an unregistered motorcycle.

“The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ajuwon Division received a report from the public about an accident involving a Lexus Jeep and a motorcycle at Abule Ojo Junction, Alagbole,” Odutola stated.
She explained that the Jeep, traveling recklessly from Akute towards Alagbole, collided with the motorcycle. The crash left the rider and two passengers with varying degrees of injuries.
“The injured victims were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention, while the driver of the Lexus Jeep fled the scene,” Odutola added.
Police officers, in collaboration with Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO), have since towed the damaged vehicles from the accident site to restore traffic flow. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the fleeing driver.
Meanwhile, the Command urged motorists to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations to prevent similar occurrences.
