The Shifauk Group of Hospitals will offer free medical checkups at the Osun Digital Media Week 2025 scheduled to hold on Thursday, December 4, 2025.
The event, organised by the Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) under the leadership of Mukhtar Ajelogbon, will feature a public lecture and a medical outreach beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The partnership was facilitated by the Chief Medical Director of Shifauk Group of Hospitals and Osun 2026 ADC gubernatorial aspirant, Dr. R. O. Saliu Orisunlagba.
According to the organisers, a section of the lecture venue will be converted into a medical outreach centre staffed by doctors, nurses and other health professionals.
Services to be provided include blood pressure checks, malaria tests, blood sugar screening and general medical consultations, all at no cost to participants.
The organisers added that the initiative is aimed at promoting preventive healthcare and encouraging media practitioners to prioritise regular medical checkups.
