The official Instagram account, belonging to singer Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile, also known as Portable, has been compromised by hackers.
The singer’s manager announced on Wednesday morning via her Instagram page the hacking of the singer’s manager, urging his fans to be patient with the management.
She conveyed, “We regret to inform you that Portable’s official account has been hacked and taken over by an unknown fraudster. We understand that this incident may cause concern and confusion among our loyal fans, and we want you to know that we are actively working to resolve the issue.”
In light of this, she advised fans to disregard any messages or requests from compromised accounts, as the hackers are using the singer’s Instagram account to share various scamming and fraudulent content.
“Please note that Portable and his manager have no control over any content that will be posted from the hacked Instagram account from this moment on,” she emphasized.
However, she reassured the fans that the management is tirelessly striving to restore the Instagram account back to the singer, and she pleaded for support and patience from their side.
“We are taking immediate action to regain control and restore the account to its rightful owner. In the meantime, we kindly request patience and support during this challenging time,” she explained.
