The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) has confirmed the training schedule for shortlisted ad-hoc staff ahead of the upcoming local government elections.
In a statement signed by OSSIEC’s Information Officer, Sadiat Isiaka, the commission announced that the training for Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs) will hold on Friday, February 7, and Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Fakunle Comprehensive High School, Stadium Roundabout, Osogbo.
The commission emphasized that the training for all SPOs will take place exclusively in Osogbo.
Meanwhile, the Presiding Officers (POs) and Poll Clerks (PCs) will undergo training on Saturday, February 8, and Sunday, February 9, 2025, at designated government schools in various local government areas. Shortlisted candidates for these positions are expected to attend training in their preferred local government area of choice, residence, or origin, depending on accessibility.
