IT Expert Kunle Buraimoh Receives Osogbo Indigenous Award for Promoting Education

Kunle Buraimoh, an IT expert and philanthropist, has been recognized with an Osogbo indigenous award for his outstanding contributions to education through his foundation.

Buraimoh is the founder and chairman of the Kunle Buraimoh (KB) Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing scholarships, distributing writing materials, and promoting digital literacy among youths in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State.

The award was presented on Saturday, November 23, during a vibrant ceremony organized by Osogbo sons and daughters. The event brought together indigenes from various sectors of the historic city to celebrate individuals recognized for their humanitarian efforts and contributions to Osogbo’s development.

Buraimoh’s recognition was tied to his numerous initiatives, including scholarships, registering indigent students for JAMB, distributing educational materials, and advancing digital literacy in Osogbo and its neighboring communities.

In his acceptance speech, Buraimoh expressed gratitude to Osogbo indigenes, especially the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Larooye II, for fostering unity among the people. He also acknowledged the support of the KB Foundation team, led by Mr. Fatai Adekunle, for their unwavering dedication.

Dedicating the award to Almighty God and his parents, High Chief Jimoh Buraimoh and Mama Adetola Buraimoh, Buraimoh vowed to continue contributing to the growth and progress of Osogbo and its environs.
