DOWOB 6th Edition to Hold July 19–20, Promises Life-Changing Sessions for Nigerians

The sixth edition of Dive Out With Olorungbotemi Bright (DOWOB), an annual virtual empowerment initiative, is set to hold on Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20, 2025. The two-day event, which begins at 8:00 p.m. daily, will take place online via Telegram and WhatsApp, and is free to the public.

Anchored by Comrade Bright Olorungbotemi, a renowned community development advocate, DOWOB has grown into a widely followed platform known for its impact on youths, artisans, civil servants, and entrepreneurs across the country. What began as a birthday outreach for the convener has since evolved into a transformative initiative focused on development, empowerment, and community connection.

This year’s edition is themed “Financial Intelligence, Relationship Building, and Talent Empowerment” and will feature sessions on wealth creation, building healthy marriages, fan base growth, and real-life experiences aimed at unlocking potential. Two notable speakers have been announced for the event: Mr. Dare Adeoye, a financial expert and influence coach, and Mrs. Bunmi Oyagbile, a well-known marriage counselor popularly referred to as “The Marriage Doctor.”

Over the years, DOWOB has recorded measurable impact. Past editions have seen underprivileged students benefit from scholarships and school supplies, while aspiring business owners received startup support. One notable case is that of a woman who started a charcoal business with assistance from the program and has now scaled it into a profitable venture.

In an interview, Olorungbotemi explained that the platform’s core strength lies in its ability to combine expert knowledge with actionable insights and direct community benefit. According to him, many past participants have requested that the program become a biannual event, citing the tangible transformations they’ve experienced.

With the 2025 edition just days away, the convener is urging early participation, emphasizing that the program remains open to all, regardless of background or status.

Interested participants can join the event via DOWOB’s official Telegram channel at https://t.me/DOWOB2024 or through WhatsApp at https://chat.whatsapp.com/Evob5pabIrNGkZhlH51xsc.
