The founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, has denied allegations of selling miracle soap for $1,000.
Pastor Abel Damina of Power City International in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, recently claimed that an unnamed man of God was selling soap for $1,000, approximately 1.4 million Naira. This accusation coincided with Prophet Fufeyin’s announcement of the upcoming event “BREAK THE LIMIT,” scheduled for August 14-18, 2024, at Mercy City, where the soap was anticipated to be introduced.
Social media users questioned the NAFDAC approval for the soap. Addressing journalists at the church headquarters on Sunday, Prophet Fufeyin dismissed the claims as false. “That’s lying business in the Altar of God. The Bible says thou shall not lie, thou shall not bear false witness against your neighbor,” he said.
“The soap is not yet available. It is still in process, and I don’t know why people are criticizing it. Some companies produce this soap. Other soaps existed before today. I am not producing the soap. This ministry is partnering with companies that produce and supply it to us. Our role as prophets is to back it up with the word of God, like with handkerchiefs or olive oil, using them as mantles and contact points to set people free from captivity or oppression,” explained Prophet Fufeyin.
