The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate for Irewole Local Government Area, Osun State, Hon. Remi Abbas, has been shot dead.
Abbas was gunned down in the early hours of today in front of the local council amid tensions over the alleged forceful takeover of the council, following the implementation of the Akire Supreme Court ruling.
