He assured the visiting military delegation that his administration has taken all necessary measures to keep Osun State peaceful, even amidst planned nationwide demonstrations.
“We have taken all necessary precautions. We recently concluded a stakeholders’ meeting, and we are committed to sustaining peace and tranquility in our state,” Governor Adeleke told the GOC and his team.
Major General Onubogu, in his address, highlighted the significance of his visit, describing it as a reaffirmation of the military’s loyalty to democratic principles and its pivotal role in maintaining peace during turbulent times.
He praised Governor Adeleke’s dedication to making Osun State the most peaceful in the country and reaffirmed the Army’s commitment to protecting Nigeria’s sovereignty and ensuring the safety of its citizens.
